Here at HGT, we’ve always strived to meet the needs of everyone who relies on our services. And as the social needs within our community continues to grow, so does the demand for our Shabbat packages. As such, it has become clear that in order to keep up with this demand and continue supporting our community, we must make an important adjustment to our registration process.
Therefore, effective immediately, we will be changing from our previous weekly registration system to a bi-weekly registration model. This means that guests will now be able to register for our meal program every other week, rather than every week as we have done in the past.
We understand that this change will be challenging for many, and it is with a heavy heart that we introduce this new policy. Please know that this decision was not made lightly. However, we believe it is essential to help us continue serving our community in the most effective way possible, especially in these difficult economic times. By making this change, we can ensure that everyone has access to the meals and support they need.
Additionally, given the high demand, we will now be limiting each individual to collecting a maximum of ONE package per week. This applies whether you are picking up for yourself or on behalf of another person/family who has already been registered for that week.
We deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time of transition. Thank you for being such an integral part of our community. We remain committed to serving you with the same care, dedication, and compassion you’ve come to expect from us.
